Ventures &, in association with Yash Infocrest. SMARTup is an initiative to support and facilitate the start up movement in all parts of India. SMARTup kicked off in Mumbai on October 28, 2017 with 4 premium Knowledge Sessions, 1-on-1 Investor Meetings, a SMARTx talk, a curated pitch session and intensive networking.

Startup Weekend is a 54-hour weekend event, during which groups of developers, business managers, startup enthusiasts, students, graphic artists and more pitch ideas for new startup companies, form teams around those ideas, and work to develop a working prototype, demo, or presentation by Sunday evening. Startup Weekend has grown into an organization with a global presence. Techstars Startup Weekends are… Techstars Startup Weekends are 54-hour events designed to provide superior experiential education for technical and non-technical entrepreneurs. The weekend events are centered on action, innovation, and education. Beginning with Friday night pitches and continuing through testing, business model development, and basic prototype creation, Startup Weekends culminate in Sunday night demos to a panel of potential investors and local entrepreneurs. Participants are challenged with building functional startups during the event and are able to collaborate with like-minded individuals outside of their daily networks. Who you’ll meet at Techstars Startup Weekend: Startup Weekends attendees’ backgrounds are roughly 50% technical (developers, coders, designers) 50% business (marketing, finance, law). Arrive at the venue and get checked in. 7:00 pm : Dinner & Networking. Eat food, share ideas, practice pitches, get to know fellow participants. 7:20 pm : Welcome & Speakers. Review agenda for the weekend and introduce speakers, coaches, and community leaders. 7:30 pm :nPitches Start. Optionally line up to give your pitch. 9:00 pm : Voting Attendees vote for the top pitches. 9:15 pm : Form Teams Teams start forming and discussing ideas. 10:00 pm : Begin Work Start to formalize teams and take an inventory of skills. Be honest, and direct about what resources and skills are needed for the weekend. You may stay and work as late as the venue will allow. Saturday January 20th 9:00 am : Breakfast Arrive, simple breakfast & coffee. 9:30 am : Begin Work Teams formed and setting up workspace for the weekend. 12:00 pm : Lunch 1:00 pm : Check-In After-lunch check-in, status reports, call for help 2:00 pm : Coach Meetings Coaches help teams one-on-one. They are here to help! 6:30 pm : Dinner 7:30 pm : Check-In After-dinner check-in, status reports, call for help. 10:00 pm : Wrap-Up Finished for the day. You may stay and work as late as the venue will allow. Sunday January 21st 9:00 am : Breakfast Arrive, simple breakfast & coffee. 10:00 am : Check-In Coaches arrive.
