South Asia's largest innovation hub is launching in Kochi on January 13th. Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri. Pinarayi Vijayan inaugurating this Integrated Startup Ecosystem with other dignitaries from central and state government. Kerala Startup Mission, the state nodal agency for supporting the technology startups in the state has envisaged and constructed the Technology Innovation Zone which is a 13 acre Startup Campus where multiple sector incubators and accelerators come together with Industry participation. This Zone has startups with more than 30 patent applications and one of the best Hardware Incubators in the country named Maker Village supported by MeitY (Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology). The Bionest which is a Biotech Incubator Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology (RGCB) [under the aegis of Department of Biotechnology, Government of India. Biotech Startups from across the country find this the most suitable place with world-class research facilities. Kerala Startup Mission runs its own incubation facility for IT, ITES companies who have scaled up globally. The Inauguration of Technology Innovation Zone with 1.25 Lakh sq ft space will accommodate country's first international accelerator for Hardware startups named BRINC which can take products globally. This Zone will be a house for International accelerators, Research and development centers, Industries, Corporates, Governments, Institutions, Investors, Mentors who can collaborate with Innovators, Startups, Faculties, Scientists, Students to build world-class startups. Technology Innovation Zone will be fully equipped with world class facility including plug and play services, freelancers corners, corporate innovation centers,VR/AR experience centers,uninterrupted power and internet connectivity, open WiFi centers for innovators in open spaces,Rapid Prototyping Center,Skill acquisition center, co-founders corner, mentor pool,Business facilitation centers,Testing centers, gaming stations and much more. A monthly funding pitch workshop for startups. The workshop intends to provide investor connects for startups looking for funding. Startups should apply with their pitch deck before 10th of every month through KSUM website. Applications received after 10th will be considered for next month.

Kerala Startup Mission presents Seeding Kerala 2019 powered by Lets Venture on 5th February 2019 at Kochi Marriot. The 4th edition of Seeding Kerala brings together the HNI network of Kerala and provide them opportunities to invest in some of the best startups from Kerala and other parts of India. The conference will host some of the marquee investors from the Indian Startup ecosystem and senior government officials from the state and central governments.
