Kerala Startup Mission (Ksum) In Partnership With Global Incubators & Accelerators, Is Rolling Out Its New Incubation Program Designed To Provide A Springboard To Budding Entrepreneurs Building Scalable Technology Products And Solutions. Program Is Set To Start In Trivandrum, Kochi And Calicut In The First Weeks Of January, February And March Respectively. Selected Entrepreneurs Will Have Access To The Mentor, Industry And Investor Networks Of Ksum And Its Partners And Will Be Eligible For A Variety Of State And Central Govt. Schemes And Grants.

Process & Timelines

Kochi Timeline
  • • Startups should apply through KSUM website by Feb 2
  • • Shortlisted startups will be notified through mail by Feb 08
  • • Final selection pitch will be in Kochi on Feb 12
  • • Selected startups should compulsorily attend the Induction Program, Sector Connect programs and Demo Days. Feb 20-24

Kozhikode Timeline
  • • Startups should apply through KSUM website by Feb 2
  • • Shortlisted startups will be notified through mail by Feb 19
  • • Final selection pitch will be in Kozhikode on Feb 22
  • • Selected startups should compulsorily attend the Induction Program, Sector Connect programs and Demo Days. March 6-9

Eligibility

  • • Startups should have registered as a Pvt. Ltd. company or a LLP. If any of the selected startup haven’t registered their companies, they would be expected to do so within January 31st 2018. KSUM will facilitate necessary assistance for this.
  • • Core team should have more than one founder. One member teams which get selected will be expected to add more founders with complementing skills by Jan 31st 2018.
  • • State government grants will be conditional to approvals from the Executive Committee of KSUM.
  • • Selected startups should compulsorily attend the Induction program.
