Agri-Tech Hackaton

An Agri-Tech Hackathon was held at ICAR-CPCRI under the sponsorship of Kerala startup Mission. The programme was inaugurated by Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. K. Jayaprasad, CUK, Kasaragod. The inauguration was chaired by Dr. K. Muralidharan, Head, Social Sciences, CPCRI, Kasaragod. Dr. K.P. Chandran, Principal Scientist, Mr. Ashok Kurian Panjikaran, Business Development Manager, Startup Mission and Mr Sawad Sayyid, Coordinator, Startup Mission.

Twenty different teams have assembled to express their zest on the different topics such as Robotics assisted grafting of plants, technology for identification of maturity of coconut without human interface, computer/mobile-based monitoring and controlling of drip irrigation system for multiple cropping system, e-market to enable seamless marketing of rural commodities and products as well as mobile app for connecting waste aggregators. The hackathon will be of 30 hours duration which will find solutions to the present problems.


Agri-tech hackathon, startup conferences, panel discussion, round table, workshops are taking place as a part of the hackathon.
