Kerala Water Authority Innovation Zone

The program titled "Kerala Water Innovation Zone(KWIZ)" is to explore new and innovative ideas in the field of Water Supply and Sewerage. The goal is to encourage research on innovative ideas in water supply and sewerage sector which will be beneficial to KWA.The Kerala Water Authority (KWA) joined hands with Kerala Startup Mission "to transform new ideas into practical technologies". The program was launched in the month of December by putting up the following challenges to the startup community in the state.

    1. Hidden Leak Detection

  2. Challenges in Sewage Management

  1. Mechanisation of Sewerage Cleaning

  1. Other Challenges

  1. Mobile Application for Transfer/Posting

The second challenge was taken by  a startup named M/s GenRobotics Innovations and they received a funding of Rs 14 Lakhs from KWA Innovation Zone. WIth this fund and support from KSUM the startup was able to launch the prototype within 2 months.
