IIM Kozhikode Management Development Programme

Kerala Start Up Mission in association with Indian Institute of Management- Kozhikode (IIMK) is planning to conduct a 5 day fully residential Management Development Programme on Aspire Change and Transform (ACT) for startup entrepreneurs who are in the commercialization/ scaling up stage, from 2-6 July 2018 at IIM Kozhikode. This programme addresses some of the significant competency gaps of the startup entrepreneurs and enable them to meet the challenges in scaling of their business enterprises to the next level.

Selection
1. Initial Application will be invited through KSUM online platforms
2. The applicants will first be shortlisted based on credentials given in the application by a selection committee consisting of KSUM officials and experts
3. Final selection will be made from these applicants based on a interview in person/over skype

Screening Criteria
The applicants are reviewed on basic criteria:

a) Applicants in the Scale up stage- ie commercialization stage only will be considered for this program
b) The company should be a startup company  as per the definition of DIPP and the companies with DIPP certification will be preferred
c) The startup should have a technology/ technology enabled product(s)/Market Viable Product in commercialization (after beta release) or scaling up stage
d) Companies providing pure business services like academic training, branding  will not be considered for this program
e) The startups who were not given training assistance in the past by KSUM will be given preference
f) Startups who have pending dues with KSUM will not be considered
g) Only one candidate from a startup is considered for the programme and preference will be given for startups who nominate a co-founder or CXO
h) Startups with substantial customer traction will be preferred
i) The startup should have an active registration at the time of application  
   

Application fee

The program is given as part of the Entrepreneurial support scheme of Kerala Startup Mission. The program will be fully residential for five days and is quite rigorous.  The program is free for the participants, which includes lodging (on twin sharing basis), boarding and academic expenses. However, a non-refundable application fee of Rs 2000 have to be paid by the startup to KSUM  for administrative charges. Number of seats are limited to 30
