KSUM is seeking public comments on
ESG Policy for Startups
KSUM is publishing the Draft ESG Policy to take up comments from the public. Once the comments are received and reviewed, KSUM will finalise and publish the policy.
KSUM aims to set forth and establish a well-defined  ESG policy framework that guides the selection and support of startups and enterprises to bolster state and national efforts. This framework will effectively direct resources to initiatives that boost economic growth, social inclusion, and environmental stewardship, strengthening Kerala's sustainable development and encouraging a seamless shift to a greener future.
The ESG policy for startups aims to cultivate a thriving ESG startup ecosystem that positions Kerala as the ultimate hub for green entrepreneurs, makes a meaningful contribution to the national GDP, attracts ESG investments into the state, and launches a new era of ESG-compliant startups right from their inception. The pillars, Environmental, Social, and Governance, which underpin this policy ensure holistic growth with a focus on  just transition, diversity, talent attraction, upskilling, creation of green job opportunities and driving innovation across sectors.
