Expression of Interest (EOI)
Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) is launching an initiative under the Startup Commons Hub to enhance the Ease of Doing Business for startups in Kerala. This initiative involves onboarding Chartered Accountancy/Company Secretary (CA/CS) firms, legal firms, and patent support firms to provide essential professional services to startups.
OBJECTIVE

The primary goal of this initiative is to offer professional services to startups, which primarily includes the following: 

Company registration and ROC filing and other registrations 
Documentation/Agreement services
Expert Advisory (Rate on Hourly basis )
HR Recruitment
  • Partnership deed preparation and registration.
  • Registration of Limited Liability partnership.
  • Registration of One person company.
  • Registration of private limited company.
  • Annually ROC filing for private limited company.
  • Annually ROC filing for One person company.
  • Annually ROC filing for Limited Liability partnership.
  • Issue ESOPs to employees 
  • Issuance of share certificate
  • GST registration
  • Import Export code Registration
  • Patent application and registration
  • Trademark registration
  • Copyright application and registration
By providing these services, we aim to alleviate the administrative and legal burdens faced by startups, allowing them to focus more on their core business activities.
ONBOARDING PROCESS

Call for Expression of Interest (EOI)

Kerala Startup Mission invites EOIs from firms specializing in Chartered Accountancy (CA), Company Secretary (CS) services, legal advisory, HR consultancy, and patent support.

Criteria for Selection and Evaluation

  • Selection will be based on proven experience, area of expertise, and industry reputation.
  • Interviews and presentations may be conducted as part of the evaluation process.

Selection and Appointment

  • Selected firms will be appointed for a contractual period of one year.
  • Appointed firms are required to maintain a presence at KSUM coworking centers located in Trivandrum, Ernakulam, and Calicut.

For Startups

  • Access to professional services at minimal cost
  • Reduced time and effort on administrative and legal processes

For KSUM

  • Strengthened support ecosystem for startups
  • Enhanced reputation as a facilitator of startup growth and success

Financial Implications

  • KSUM will provide a Membership card for accessing KSUM incubation centers to the selected firms/agencies.
  • The rates for providing the services to startups will be finalized by Kerala Startup Mission after selection of the agencies and a base rate will be fixed. 
This initiative aims to strengthen our startup ecosystem and aligns with our strategic goals to enhance the Ease of Doing Business for startups. The professional services provided through this initiative will significantly benefit our startups and contribute to their success

Launchpad Partners
  • Applicants who have good startup ecosystem experience in respective countries shall be empanelled for starting the launchpad programme
  • The space for the launchpad programme should be identified by the empanelled partner.
  • The rent rates should be competent and the empanelled partner should facilitate the launchpad activities in respective countries
  • The founder of the empanelled agency should have startup experience or should be a member of prominent business associations
  • The empanelled agency should act as a single point of contact for any startups from kerala
  • Facilitation charge or startup engagement programmes may be billed separately
  • Any revenue generation activity by the empanelled agency via the launchpad programme may be shared on a mutual agreement basis with Kerala Startup Mission
