At a time when the government is intensifying its push for entrepreneurship, it is important to note that the push at the policy-making level is also becoming gender-specific. The state has made it compulsory to implement steps to encourage women to enter into the field of entrepreneurship and innovation. Kerala Startup Mission over the past years has been heralded for its efforts in bringing in technological and innovative changes in a wide spectrum of fields regardless of gender specific stigma that is ever present in our system.
Seeking to encourage inclusivity in the startup ecosystem by accelerating and empowering
women with upskilling and global collaboration opportunities, the Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) is organising Women Startup Summit 4.0 on 23rd at Technology Innovation Zone, Kochi and 24th September 2022 at Marriott Kochi . Through the summit Kerala Startup Mission envisages to create an ecosystem that ensures far greater participation of aspiring female entrepreneurs by removing barriers on their path to establishing business ventures, in its efforts to reduce female under-representation in businesses related to science and technology.
