Machines in this lab will allow startups to work with accurate high-speed machines and use a variety of available tools for cutting, plotting, creasing, scoring, milling, drawing, etc. This lab also permits our startups to come out with their final prototypes using metal, fabrics, papers, polymer films, composites, corrugated cardboard etc.
The lab was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Kerala in Jan 20, 2021.

The Super Fab Labs concept, the only one outside the U.S., is the brainchild of Dr Neil Gershenfeld, presently the Director of MIT Centre for Bits and Atoms, who set up the first Fab Lab in the U.S. about 17 years ago, KSUM said.
Dr Gershenfeld was in the city for nearly a week to personally supervise the setting up of the Super Fab Lab. Fab Labs are fabrication laboratories offering digital fabrication and computation
Rely on Computer aided design with the additive and subtractive manufacturing the super Fab lab values researches innovators and developers to do things beyond the purview of the state's existing Fab labs Dr Gershenfeld that this super Fab lab is a pioneering ventures by Kerala and would let people produce what they consume the state-of-the-art facility enabled the state to produce machine locally for access throughout Kerala it can be for business education almost anything it is an exciting initiated and the whole world is watching water happening here so that they can follow on your footsteps the super Fab lab which is poised to give India infrastructure and you sleep by allowing researches innovators and developers to do things beyond the purview of the state 16 caplets will function in collaboration with MIT.
