Job Description

Kerala Startup Mission invites applications from qualified and experienced professionals for the position of Project Engineer - Electrical. The selected candidate will be responsible for planning, execution, maintenance and safety compliance of electrical & MEP systems of KSUM’s infrastructure facilities, supporting the organisation’s growing startups and upkeep of startup innovation hubs across Kerala.

Responsibilities :

Plan and design electrical systems for new infrastructure projects and renovations.
Conduct routine inspection and maintenance of existing electrical setups across all KSUM locations.
Oversee and coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure timely and quality execution of electrical works.
Ensure compliance with applicable electrical safety standards, statutory regulations, and organizational guidelines.
Monitor project progress, prepare reports, and recommend improvements in systems or processes.
Evaluate electrical load requirements, plan for upgrades, and address technical issues proactively.
Support the procurement of electrical materials and equipment by providing specifications and vendor assessments.
Assist in energy efficiency initiatives and cost-saving strategies.
