Job Description

Kerala Startup Mission is launching the Emerging Technology Hub (ETH) to position Kerala as a leader in emerging and deep-tech innovation. To support sector-specific program development and infrastructure building, KSUM is looking to onboard Senior Fellows with strong domain expertise and networks in the following five areas:

Space Tech
Healthcare & Med Tech
Agri Tech & Life Sciences
Energy & Renewables
AVGC & XR

The Senior Fellows will play a critical role in shaping the strategy and execution of ETH sectoral initiatives by designing programs, identifying & supporting startups, forging partnerships, and enabling infrastructure creation for the sector.

No: of Posts: 5 (One for Each Sector)

Responsibilities:

Design and implement sector-specific startup support programs such as accelerators, bootcamps, and challenge grants to strengthen the innovation pipeline.
Identify and engage key stakeholders from academia, industry, government, and global organizations to build a robust innovation ecosystem.
Forge collaborations with institutions offering technical infrastructure or testbeds and support the planning of sectoral facilities within the upcoming ETH campus.
Identify high-potential startups in the sector, mentor them, and facilitate access to funding, market linkages, and research support.
Organize knowledge-sharing events and contribute to the development of sectoral whitepapers, policy notes, and strategy documents.
Monitor national and international trends in the sector and provide strategic inputs to shape KSUM’s sectoral roadmap under ETH.

Qualification

Any Graduation

Experience and Skills

Graduation with minimum 8–10 years of experience in the relevant sector with strong exposure to innovation, R&D, startups, or entrepreneurship ecosystems.
Professionals from premier R&D organisations, domain-focused corporates, academia, or startup leadership roles are preferred.
Deep understanding of current challenges, opportunities, and innovation trends in the sector.
Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to roll out and manage programs. Strong communication and excellent networking skills.

Remuneration

Fellowship amount of Rs.60,000 to 80,000 per month.
