Job Description

Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) invites applications from qualified and experienced professionals for the position of Project Engineer - Civil. The selected candidate will be responsible for planning, execution, maintenance and quality control of civil infrastructure works of KSUM facilities, supporting the development and upkeep of startup innovation hubs across Kerala.

Responsibilities

Plan, design, and oversee the construction of buildings, interior works, and related infrastructure projects.
Ensure maintenance, safety, and statutory compliance of existing buildings and facilities.
Estimate quantities and costs of materials and labor for various civil works.
Verify site measurements and assist in the preparation and certification of contractor/vendor bills.
Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams for timely and quality execution of civil works.
Ensure adherence to government regulations, quality standards, and safety norms at all stages of construction and maintenance.

Experience and Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience in civil construction and maintenance.
Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and project estimation.
Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and relevant civil engineering tools.
Strong site supervision, communication, and coordination skills.

Age : Below 40 years as on 01.01.2026

Commitment : Full Time

Duration : One Year Contract

Salary : The selected candidate will receive a consolidated monthly pay of Rs. 80,000 and other benefits as per KSUM policies.
